    The long awaited Nigerian Air Force shortlist for Direct Short Service Commission Course (DSSC) 32 / 2026 is finally out.

    The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has made a significant announcement, releasing the list of successful candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) course. This announcement is very essential for aspiring military personnel and underscores.

    Next Steps for Successful Candidates

    If you find your name on the list, congratulations! Here are some potential next steps:

    1. Successful candidates are to report to Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Afaka, Kaduna on Friday 10 May 2025.
    2. Pay close attention to the reporting date, location, and any required documents you need to bring.
    3. As a successful candidate, you’ll undergo basic military training to develop the necessary physical and mental fitness for service in the Air Force.
    4. Ensure you have all the necessary documents mentioned in the reporting instructions, such as originals and photocopies of your credentials and valid identification card.

    Required Documents for Training

    Any candidate who fails to report by 1800 Hours (6:00pm) Monday, 13 May 2025 will forfeit the training slot.

    1. Selected candidates must come along with the originals and photocopies of the following credentials:
    2. First School Leaving Certificate,
    3. NECO/WAEC/NABTEB results,
    4. Degree/HND Certificate,
    5. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age,
    6. Letter of State of Origin,
    7. Nigerian Air Force Applicant Acknowledgement Card,
    8. Signed Attestation of Parent/Guardian Consent Form and Local Government Area Attestation Form.

    Important Information

    Any candidate who fails to come with the originals copies of the stated documents will not be accepted into the Academy.

    All candidates are encouraged to learn basic swimming skill before reporting for training.

    Shortlisted candidates are not allowed to receive visitors and will not leave the Academy for the first three months of training.

    Serving military personnel are to come along with release letters and passes from their commanders.
