About NIMASA
The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, formerly the National Maritime Authority are responsible for regulations related to Nigerian shipping, maritime labor, and coastal waters. The agency also undertakes inspections and provides search and rescue services.
NIMASA Recruitment Requirements
Based on previous NIMASA recruitment exercise, applicants are always expected to meet the benchmark criteria below.
- He or she must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must have National Identification Number (NIN), voter’s card, international passport or driver’s license.
- The acceptable entry age is 18 – 35 years.
- Applicant must have at least five (5) credits in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE etc.
- Applicant must have graduated and award HND or B.Sc. in any Maritime course, Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Due to the operational nature of NIMASA, candidates applying must be physically and mentally strong.
- Valid license (where applicable)
Documents you will upload during application are; recent passport photograph, NIN slip or Card, O’level result, ND, HND or B.Sc. certificate, birth certificate or valid age declaration, certificate of origin, license and ay other supporting document etc.
